Sea to Sky Multi-Adventure
The Sea to Sky corridor between Vancouver and Whistler is a world renowned outdoor adventure playground - mountain biking, sea kayaking, white water rafting, hiking, canoeing, rock and mountain climbing - we have it all and mostly to a world class level.
This vacation samples many of the activities that draw people from around the world with an adventure activity scheduled for each day. It's not all exhausting fun and games though as our guides will also help showcase some of the incredible scenery that abounds on this area with visits to some of our beautiful local parks, waterfalls, scenic lookouts and even some wildlife viewing. We'll show you the best of the Sea to Sky corridor with a local's passion and enthusiasm.
Please bear in mind that the itinerary may change due to weather considerations or other unforeseen events. In the event of not being able to do a particular activity for safety reasons we will substitute another comparable activity. It is also possible to substitute different activities should you not wish to participate in a certain one, just ask and we will arrange it for you.
DAY ONE - Leaving Vancouver we will transport you to Bowen Island in beautiful Howe Sound. Here you will experience your first outdoor adventure - sea kayaking in the placid waters of the sound. Your first three nights will be spent in Squamish, our home community and the outdoor recreation capital of Canada.
DAY TWO - Squamish is world renowned as a centre for rock climbing due to the presence of the Stawamus Chief a 600m (2000') granite monolith. Our adventure for the day will be an introductory climbing course on the lower sections of the Chief. Later we will ride the Sea to Sky Gondola to access incredible view trails and vistas over Howe Sound.
DAY THREE - We will get out on the water again with an incredible white water rafting adventure on the Elaho River with Sunwolf Adventures. The Elaho is a remote wilderness river accessed via logging road, the scenery is stunning and the rapids are wild and enjoyable with names such as the Devil's Elbow.
DAY FOUR - We move on to Whistler today where we will spend the remaining portion of your vacation. Our activity for the day is mountain biking. Whistler is a mecca for mountain biking with people travelling from all over the world to come here and ride its famous trails. You may choose from downhill biking (lift accessed then riding down trails on big suspension bikes) or 'cross country' riding (where you will pedal at least some of the time and there will be some uphill sections) tailored to the level you require.
DAY FIVE - Our final day will see us hike the High Note Trail, one of Whistler's finest scenic trails. This 10km trail is accessed via the Whistler Mountain lift system and the world famous Peak-To-Peak Gondola.
DAY SIX - A last look around Whistler or a time to squeeze in one last activity before heading back down to Vancouver after lunch.
