Custom Vacations

Should you wish, West Coast Wonders can arrange your entire BC vacation for you. This magnificent province has a wealth of things to do and see but BC is also a big place and people often overestimate what they can comfortably manage to do and how far they can reasonably travel in their allotted vacation time. We can advise you and are happy to organise everything for you so that your vacation is 'just right'.

From the planning to the end of the custom Sea To Sky hiking trip Sean Boyle gave us a wonderful holiday in the coastal mountains of BC.

Uncertain of what to choose to do? Unsure of what would maximise your enjoyment in the time you have available? Know what you want but simply don't have enough time to organise your own vacation? Then leave it to us and we'll do it all for you. We'll make the decisions based on your requirements and guarantee you a perfectly paced holiday that could be action packed in the wilderness, relaxing in tranquil scenic beauty or a bit of both, depending on your wishes.

BC is generally mountainous but the variety of scenery may surprise the first time visitor. In addition to jagged peaks and glaciers we have rolling ranchland, glorious and deserted sandy beaches, large swathes of coniferous rainforest and even a small area of semi-desert.

What types of things might you spend your time doing? The list is nearly endless. We have such an abundance of outdoor activities that it might not be matched anywhere else in the world.

Hiking can take place from the North Shore of Vancouver, in the Sea to Sky region (Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton), in the Chilcotins, on Vancouver Island.

We have wilderness canoe trips such as the Bowron Lakes, Powell Forest circuit, Sayward Forest circuit or Murtle Lake that can range from a couple of days to eight days or more. No matter how quiet and remote you would like it to be we can provide it.

Mountain biking is truly amazing in BC and renowned the world over. You might want to try Whistler's downhill bike park (the largest in the world) or sample the highly technical trails on the North Shore or in Squamish and Pemberton. If cross country is more your thing then the Chilcotins is a mountain biking paradise that really ought to be known around the world.

For those seeking less active pursuits we can arrange whale or bear viewing trips. There are few sights as exciting as seeing these large mammals in their natural habitat. And whether it's salmon in Campbell River, sturgeon in the Fraser or trout in some remote mountain lake you can rest assured that BC is hard to beat when it comes to fishing.

How many places can you visit on your stay in BC? In seven or eight days you could comfortably do a two-centre vacation such as Vancouver and Whistler, Whistler and the Chilcotins or Whistler and Tofino.  Add more time and more bases can be included, ten days will allow you time to visit Vancouver, Whistler and Tofino in one trip without rushing things too much.

Armin and I did a week of walking in and around Squamish and Whistler with West Coast Wonders and we loved every minute of it... They anticipate everything so we didn’t have to do anything except turn up.... Strongly recommend WCW to anyone who wants a well-planned and hassle free trip.
